Full Description

Parish Church C.E. Primary School off Acland Street in Gainsborough. Opened in 1844 as a girls' charity school (as the counterpart to a boys' school opened a few years earlier. See MLI126408). It is built out of red brick with cross-gabled roofs. It is still open, and running as a mixed primary school. Its current form resembles that shown on the 1899 second edition OS Map for Gainsborough, though several modern brick buildings have been added to the school complex since. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5}
