Full Description

Sutton Bridge war memorial is located in the churchyard of the Church of St Matthew. It was unveiled in 1920. Commemorating the fallen of the First World War and Second World War, the memorial consists of a 15ft (4.5m) high Portland stone Latin cross. The cross and shaft are mounted on an octagonal plinth and a three-stepped base. {1}
