Full Description
Partney Memorial Victory Hall was built as the parish's war memorial in 1921. The building stands on Skegness Road, next to the Church of St Nicholas. The hall was built as a timber-frame asbestos structure on the site of a First World War German prisoner of war compound. It was built to commemorate those who fought in the First World War. In 1986, a brick structure with a concrete roof was built, encapsulating the original building. A memorial tablet recording the names of the fallen can be found in the Church of St Nicholas (see PRN42155). {1}
