Full Description

North Somercotes war memorial, erected by Messrs Mawer Bros of Louth, is located on Keeling Street at the eastern side of the village. It consists of a 10ft (3m) tall Celtic cross of granite with an intricate knot work design on the face. Unveiled in 1920, the memorial commemorates all those who fought in the First World War, Second World War, and other conflicts. {1}
