Full Description

Newton on Trent war memorial is situated on High Street at the entrance of the primary school and to the churchyard of the Church of St Peter. The memorial is a cairn, unusual for Lincolnshire, which has the names of the First World War recorded on a marble tablet set in the top of the white granite memorial. Another tablet was later affixed to the front of the cairn to remember the fallen the Second World War. {1}
