Full Description

Nettleton war memorial cottage is found on Moortown Road, next to the primary school. It was built in 1922 for a cost of £450. The memorial cottage was built for the poor of the village. The building is a two-bedroomed bungalow built of red brick with a slate roof and stone dressings. The building has two plaques affixed to the outside, one on either side of the door, commemorating the fallen of the First World War. {1}
