Full Description

Mablethorpe war memorial is situated on High Street, adjacent to the car park. Unveiled on the Promenade 1921, it originally carried the names of the First World War dead, but now also has the further names of the Second World War fallen. The memorial itself is 11.5ft (3.5m) high red Aberdeen granite pillar. It was moved to this location in 1985. {1}
