Full Description

Hogsthorpe war memorial stands in on the northside of the churchyard of the Church of St Mary. It is a grey Cornish granite obelisk at a height of 11ft (3m). The memorial commemorates the fallen in the First World War and the Second World War. The memorial was dedicated in 1920, and was unveiled by the Right Hon. Dr Christopher Addison MP, the Minister of Health under Prime Minister Lloyd George. {1}
