Full Description

Harmston war memorial consists of the village hall, which was opened in 1922. The building was altered in 1997 with the introduction of monochromatic brickwork, concrete interlocking roof tiles and brown plastic windows. The hall has an oak tablet placed on the west side which lists all who served and died in the First World War. The tablet was designed by Miss Winifred Evans, a student at Lincoln School of Art, and executed by the arts headmaster, Mr Austin Garland. {1}
