Full Description

Great Ponton war memorial is positioned by the side of the path leading to Church of the Holy Cross. It is a 6ft (2m) high polished grey Aberdeen granite obelisk. The memorial was unveiled in 1920 to commemorate the fallen of the First World War. Further names were added after the Second World War. {1}
