Full Description
Grainthorpe war memorial stands at the junction of High Street and Wragholme Road. It is a 12ft (4m) high Celtic cross, executed in Cornish granite. The memorial, which commemorates victims of the First World War and the Second World War, was unveiled in 1920. It was refurbished in 1977, and was completely restored in 1993 after a traffic accident in 1992. {1}
