Full Description

East Stockwith war memorial is situated at the entrance to St Peter's Close. It was originally located outside the former village school but the 1921 memorial was moved in 2007 after the building was sold to a private owner. The memorial itself is a Cornish granite Celtic cross atop of a plinth. M. Credland lists the memorial as including Walkerith. {1}
