Long Bennington war memorial stands on the corner of Church Street and Main Road. The 1920 memorial commemorates those who died in the First World War and the Second World War. It stands at 7ft (2m) high and consists of a square pillar with a floriated capital and upper panels made of Stancliffe stone. {1}
