Full Description

Fragments from two late 17th century clay tobacco pipes were found in this location in November 2007, during archaeological monitoring of new development on land at Worth Court. The fragments were recovered from layers of farmyard occupation material and debris, suggesting they were deposited in the later post-medieval period, when the site is known to have formed part of a former farmstead. {1}{2}
