Full Description

A site visit was conducted in September 2017, to assess a proposal to demolish and redevelop the former outbuilding to the Manor House at Bigby. The building appears to be an early 19th century, former carriage house and stables, built of yellow brick and featuring hipped slate roofs. Photographs taken of the structure show that the walls have suffered some cracking and that some of the roof slates have slipped. The building now appears to largely be used for storage, and as housing for automobiles. {1}
