Full Description

Two redeposited sherds of Roman pottery were found in October 2015, during test pitting at Tattershall Castle, in the field known as the Tiltyard. One of the sherds was a fragment from a grey ware jar, only datable to the general Roman period, whilst the other was a piece from a colour-coated bowl or dish, dating from the 3rd or 4th century. {1}{2}
