Full Description

A single redeposited sherd of late Saxon pottery was recovered from this location in October 2011, during trial trenching within the inner ward of Tattershall Castle. The fragment was a rim sherd from a Lincoln Kiln-type Shelly ware jar, dating from the mid 9th to 10th centuries. {1}{2}
