Full Description

Curlew Lodge Farm, Sutton Bridge. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with linked working buildings to all four sides of the yard. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {1} A study of the history and development of Curlew Lodge Farm was included in the programme of historic building recording, conducted in June 2015, prior to the proposed conversion to residential use of some of the former farm buildings. {2}{3}
