Full Description

Former signal box at Eastville Railway Station, which was on part of the Great Northern Railway's, East Lincolnshire Railway line, this part of which opened in October 1848. The box was of two storeys, constructed largely of red brick with a slate roof, and featured large timber and glass windows overlooking the adjacent railway line. Entrance to the main room was by a set of external stairs at the north side, with entrance to the basement being below the stairs. The box was extant in 1966, but has since been demolished. {1}{2}
