Full Description

A former weigh machine office at Eastville Railway Station, which was opened in October 1848, and was closed to all traffic in 1964. The building is single-storey, constructed of red brick, and featured a slate roof with a chimney at the south end. It was located next to the former goods sidings, which have since been lifted, and featured a large window in the east wall, overlooking the former weighing platform. Entrance was by a door in the south wall. The building is still extant and is now in use as a garden shed. {1}{2}
