Full Description
Church Farm, Rand. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard of E plan. The farmhouse is detached from the main working complex. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located on the site. {1}
A study of the history and development of Church Farm was included in the programme of historic building recording, conducted in December 2015, prior to the proposed conversion of some of the former farm buildings. The farm was thought to have earlier, 18th century origins, with historic mapping showing the development of the farm in the 19th century. {2}{3}
