Boucherett Farm, North Willingham. Formerly known as Willingham Corner Farm. Partially extant 19th century farmstead. Regular courtyard with multiple regular yards. The farmhouse is detached with the gable end facing on to the yard. There has been a partial loss (less than 50%) of traditional buildings. Isolated location. Large modern sheds are located to the side of the site. {1} The northernmost building in the farmstead was thought to be a former threshing barn of possible late 18th or early 19th century date. It was constructed of roughly hewn stone rubble, with brick dressings to the window and door openings. It featured large, opposing double doors at ground floor, allowing loaded carts to pass through, and had a steeply pitched pantile roof. A short, single-storey range was attached to the south-east. Significant damage was caused to these structures in August 2017, after a fire took hold in the barn, with the majority of the building either collapsing or being demolished as part of subsequent efforts to make the site safe. The building was later rebuilt in a similar style to the previous structure, and likely incoporating some of the original material, though with considerable quantities of new stonework, and new windows, doors and roofing material, as can be clearly seen on the various Google Streetview imagery layers. The south-eastern range was also rebuilt, though to a larger footprint area and also raised to two storeys. {2}{3}
