Full Description

Several redeposited artefacts of late Iron Age or early Roman date were recovered from this location in September 2015, during trial trenching conducted to inform proposed residential development. The assemblage comprised two pieces of highly fired, wheel-made pottery, dating from the late 1st century BC to the late 1st century AD, and a small fragment of Roman brick. {1}{2}
