Full Description

The Church of St Andrew was built in 1846 using stone from Stixwould Priory. It survived for around a century before being demolished in the 1950s. Its former dimensions are depicted on the 2nd edition 25 inch Ordannce Survey County Series map. {1}{2} The Church of St Andrew was damaged by a parachute mine during the Second World War, and was later demolished in 1957. {3}
