Full Description
A small number of undated pit and ditch features were recorded in this location in November 2006, during trial trenching on land at Witham Road. The features lie in close proximity to a large number of similar pits, from which quantities of early post-medieval pottery were recovered (see PRN49332). It was thought possible that these features were contemporary with the dated activity, although no artefacts were recovered and the association could not be conclusively proven. {1}{2}
