Full Description

A former station house and ticket office for Gedney Railway Station, which was opened in October 1862, and was closed to all traffic in April 1965. The building is of red brick and features hipped slate roofs. The main station building is of two-storeys, although there are single storey extensions to both ends. All of the windows appear to be boarded up, and the building does not appear to be currently (2016) in use. {1}{2}{3}{4} The building was largely used for storage purposes after the railway line closed, but was converted to use as a private residence in 2021. {5}
