Full Description
The churchyard at the Church of St Edward the Confessor is depicted on the 2nd edition 25 inch Ordnance Survey County Series map. It likely dates to at least the medieval period, when the church it served was built. This church was replaced in 1860 by the present structure, which is believed to stand on, or very near to the site of its predecessor (see PRN 53072). {1}
