Full Description
Concrete emplacement and holdfast for a Second World War 6 " coastal defence gun, forming part of the Boston Examination Battery (see MLI13376). The structure was partially disguised to resemble a bungalow. The magazine for the gun was linked to the gunhouse by a ramp (see MLI125843). {1}{2}{3}{4}
A photograph of the gun emplacement was taken in July 2007, during site visits conducted for the Rapid Coastal Zone Assessment Survey. {5}
