Full Description

Two redeposited fragments of probable Iron Age or Romano-British briquetage were found in this location in April 2014, during archaeological monitoring of groundworks for the construction of two new fishing lakes. The lakes were positioned to avoid the remains of previously identified Iron Age or Romano-British salterns in this area (see PRN 49066), and no archaeological features were directly impacted by the works. {1}{2}
