Description
A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the construction of two new fishing lakes on land off Mill Road, Addlethorpe. The fishing lakes were positioned to avoid the remains of previously identified Iron Age or Romano-British salterns, and no archaeological features were directly impacted by the works. Several fragments of redeposited briquetage were, however, recovered from an overlying alluvial layer. {1}{2}
