Full Description
A scatter of Iron Age and Roman pottery. Three Iron Age pieces, one piece of Samian ware, one sherd of mortarium, several colour-coated ware and several greyware. There are probably no more than 20 sherds in total. Also some iron objects, probably nails. The objects were accessioned at Louth Museum and had probably been donated in about 1964. Most were marked with the grid reference TF125366 or TF124366. The finds were offered to Sleaford Museum in 2016. For a Roman harness fitting from the same site see PRN32849. {1}
