Full Description

A single redeposited sherd of Roman pottery was recovered in April 2008, during archaeological monitoring to the rear of the former Manvers Arms public house, at 204-206 Monks Road, Lincoln. The sherd was a very abraded fragment from a cream coloured vessel, possibly a flagon, and was thought to date from the 1st or 2nd century. {1}{2}
