Full Description

Dalderby war memorial is situated beside the A153 and was originally unveiled in 1916 in honour of the hamlet's First World War service. Amongst all of Lincolnshire's villages, the hamlet had the highest proportion of young men to volunteer for the armed services. It was inscribed with the name of Cpl Leslie Garner, who was the only man from Dalderby to fall in the conflict, after his death in 1917. The memorial is a wayside cross on an octagonal column and plinth. It was renovated from 1994 to 1995 after a vehicle collided with it. {1}
