Full Description

The range of outbuildings adjacent to the former Beridge Arms were included in a programme of historical building recording, conducted in May 2014, prior to their proposed demolition. The range dates to the late 18th or early 19th century and comprises a central two-storey former cart shed, with single storey stables to the west and a former implement store to the east, more recently used as a shop. The buildings are all of brick, mostly laid in an English Garden Wall bond, and feature roofs of red pantiles. The buildings have been subject to a variety of alterations in the mid and late 20th century. {1}{2}
