Full Description

The former miller's house at Pocklington's Mill was briefly described in a programme of historic building recording, conducted in February 2014 to inform proposed renovation and renewal works at the site. The building is two-storey, and is built of red brick with a hipped slate roof. It was constructed in 1890, using bricks from a mill that was demolished at Skirbeck, Boston. The building was in use as a house until its conversion to a tea room, likely in 1985 when Pocklington's Mill was restored. {1}{2}
