Traces of medieval ridge and furrow were identified in this location in September 2014, during magnetometry survey on land off Honeyholes Lane, Dunholme. The remains were identified as a number of areas of parallel linear magnetic anomalies, mostly aligned on a roughly north-west to south-east axis, although some areas at the eastern end of the site were aligned on a roughly north-east to north-west axis, and may represent a division of the open field system here. {1}
