Description

A fluxgate gradiometer survey was conducted to inform proposed residential development on land off Honeyholes Lane, Dunholme. Traces of medieval ridge and furrow were noted across the site, along with a small number of weak, discrete magnetic anomalies. No obvious archaeological context could be ascribed to these anomalies, and it was thought more likely that they represented natural features such as tree throws, rather than archaeological pits. {1}
