Full Description
A small, square enclosure of uncertain date was identified in this area in June 2011, during magnetometry survey along selected parts of the proposed Covenham Water Treatment Works to Boston Transfer pipeline. Although no exact date could be determined, the feature appeared to be cut through by the remains of medieval ridge and furrow. {1}
Further probable enclosures were identified in October 2011, during expanded magnetometry surveys of the proposed Covenham Water Treatment Works to Boston Transfer pipeline. The remains were identified as both rectilinear and roughly circular magnetic anomalies with possible associaetd features. {2}
