Full Description
Traces of probable medieval ridge and furrow were identified in this location in June and October 2011, during magnetometry survey along selected parts of the proposed Covenham Water Treatment Works to Boston Transfer pipeline. The remains were identified as two nearby blocks of parallel linear magnetic anomalies, the northern block aligned on a roughly north-east to south-west axis, and the southern block aligned on a roughly north-west to south-east axis. {1}{2}
