Bilsby war memorial was unveiled in 1919 and stands in the churchyard adjacent to the east side of Holy Trinity Church. The design is of a broken column made from Cornish grey granite on a rusticated base. The memorial commemorates the fallen from both the First World War and the Second World War. {1} Bilsby war memorial stands in the churchyard of the Church of the Holy Trinity, to the east of the church. It was dedicated on 26 October 1919, commemorating 6 local servicemen and a nurse who died during the First World War. It is made of Cornish granite and takes the form of a broken column, symbolizing lives cut short. A further name was added to the memorial following the Second World War, bringing the total names inscribed on the memorial to 8.
