Full Description
A set of ditch-like magnetic anomalies were identified here in July 2014, during a magnetometry survey conducted on land to the west of the A15, Burton by Lincoln. The anomalies appeared to define a 'D' shaped enclosure that may be of possible prehistoric date. {1}
Subsequent trial trenching conducted at the same location in October 2014 confirmed the results of the magnetometry survey.
