Full Description

A redeposited fragment of fired clay was found in this location in March 2013, dduring trial trenching conducted to inform proposed residential development on land north of Woodlands Drive. Although only being a small piece, the fragment was thought to have formed part of an annular loomweight, typically of Anglo-Saxon date. {1}{2}
