Full Description
Two sherds of redeposited Roman pottery were found in this area in March 2013, during trial trenching conducted to inform proposed residential development on land north of Woodlands Drive. One of the pieces was a fragment of sandy greyware pottery, probably from a Roman wheelmade vessel, whilst the other was a piece of undifferentiated Roman colour coated pottery. {1}{2}
