Description

Three trenches were excavated on land off Old Main Road, Scamblesby in October 2009 by Allen Archaeology Ltd. Along with ditches and a pit, worked Mesolithic to Bronze Age flints, possible Roman brick fragments, post medieval brick and pottery were found. {1}{2}
