Description

A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks associated with the construction of a new waste water treatment plant on land to the north-west of Saltfleetby St Peter. Earthwork remains of north-west to south-east aligned medieval ridge and furrow were recorded across the site. A small assemblage of redeposited medieval to early post-medieval pottery was also recovered, along with two residual sherds of Roman pottery. {1}{2}
