Description
A watching brief was carried out by Pre-Construct Archaeology in September 2008, during excavations relating to the erection of a new road sign on the A52 near Muston, Lincolnshire. The pit (Pit 3) was located 165m west of the Sewstern Lane junction in the westbound carriageway verge. There was no evidence of archaeologically significant remains. Two more pits observed on the same day, in the area near Sedgebrook (Barrowby parish), are recorded as ELI9239.{1} {2}
