Description

A watching brief was carried out by Pre-Construct Archaeology in September 2008, during excavations relating to the erection of two new road signs on the A52 near Sedgebrook (Barrowby parish) near Grantham, Lincolnshire. The pits were located in the western carriageway verge at distances of between 485-580m east of the junction with Denton Lane. A third pit observed on the same day, in the area near Muston, is recorded as ELI9240. {1}{2}
