Description

Twelve 100m x 1.8m evaluation trenches were excavated in February 2008 prior to proposed quarry extension at Norton Bottoms Quarry, Norton Disney. Medieval, post medieval and undated features were revealed and a fragment of Romano-British brick and a 13th century pottery sherd were recovered. {1}{2}.
