Description
Two 20m x 1.6m trenches were excavated in March 2008 prior to proposed residential development of the area. 17th/18th century ditches and pits were revealed, interpreted as being associated with agricultural activity and a 19th/20th century pit and associated postholes demonstrated a continuation of land use. {1}{2}
