Description

A watching brief was carried out during groundworks associated with the construction of a single house. A large late Roman or Saxon ditch was uncovered, along with late post medieval features. Residual prehistoric, Roman and post medieval finds were recovered. The site has been extensively landscaped in the past, probably on several occasions, and it is thought that this may account for the lack of medieval layers. {1}{2}
